Program Control Analyst

SAIC is seeking a driven Program Control Analyst to join the Army Navy Business Group’s Program Control team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project planning and government financial analysis. In this role, you will provide financial oversight and analytical support to the USN, developing and managing program budgets, forecasts, cost models, and performance metrics. You will collaborate closely with the Program Manager, Program Management Office, and teams across contracts, finance, accounts receivable, procurement, and subcontract management to ensure accurate financial execution. Success in this position requires government contracting expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence decisions through data-driven analysis.

This position is 100% remote. The anticipated salary range for this position will be between $80,000 and $90,000 based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial planning activities, including budgets, forecasts, EACs, and revenue projections.
• Perform detailed cost tracking, variance analysis, and performance reporting for cost-plus programs.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, dashboards, and program review materials for leadership.
• Partner with Program Managers to interpret financial data, evaluate risks/opportunities, and support strategic decisions.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, CAS, internal policies, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with accounting, contracts, and procurement to validate data and resolve issues.
• Support internal and external audits, financial reviews, and data integrity checks.
• Submit and maintain purchase requisitions for subcontractors and materials; monitoring subcontractor costs and review/approval of timesheets and non-labor invoices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field and three (3) years or more of program control or financial analysis experience in a government contracting environment.
• US citizenship required.
• Experience providing financial tracking and support for the government customers in areas of Program Control, Finance, Cost Estimating, Financial Analysis, or Accounting.
• Ability to prepare program baseline data, EAC development and cost estimating/pricing and complex variance analysis.
• Ability to balance long-term thinking with short-term execution.
• Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modeling) and experience with ERP systems such as Costpoint.

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
